Quick tortilla pizza
Jump to recipeThis quick tortilla pizza is ready in 15 minutes and has about 36 g of protein per serving. A thin tortilla stands in for the dough and crisps up faster than a classic crust, and MEALUP goes on at the end.
It's perfect for a night when you can't face waiting for dough to rise. Tomato sauce, cheese and your favorite toppings do the rest in under 10 minutes in the oven.
MEALUP Hard Italian Cheese goes over the finished pizza as soon as it comes out of the oven or pan, piping hot. It brings protein on top of the melted cheese and never gets baked.

Preparation
- Heat the oven or panHeat the oven to 200°C, or heat a wide dry pan over medium heat if you're cooking on the stove.

- Add the cheese and toppingsScatter the grated cheese on top and add the cherry tomatoes, olives or peppers, whatever you have.
- BakeBake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until the cheese melts and browns, or cover the pan with a lid and cook over medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes, until the base is crisp.
- Add the oreganoAs soon as the pizza is out of the oven, sprinkle it with oregano to taste.
- Finish with MEALUPSprinkle 2 servings (60 g) of MEALUP Hard Italian Cheese evenly over the whole pizza while it's still warm, just before you slice it.
Tips
- A thin tortilla crisps up better than thick dough and needs no time to rise.
- For a more substantial dinner, add some sliced cooked chicken over the sauce.
- Save MEALUP for the very end, over the finished pizza, so its flavor stays clean.
- Leftover toppings from the fridge (roasted vegetables, olives) work well here.
MEALUP Hard Italian Cheese goes over the finished pizza right after it comes out of the oven or pan, never before baking. That keeps the hard cheese flavor clear on the hot pizza.
Protein calculated from USDA FoodData Central and the MEALUP label (21 g in 1 serving).
